Hoults Yard, a great buzz about the place with so many creative businesses working there. This event was held in a two adjoining empty brick warehouses. Kindly provided courtesy of Charlie Hoult.
No natural light but lit with red lights it made for an interesting environment and the huge graffiti on the walls in the second room provided the perfect creative hang out. The first room was used for networking the second room had rows of chairs in preparation for the nights presentations.
The presentations were kept short and sweet, and yet every one of them had useful tips which was impressive as two of the talks were on tax and law.

Freelance Romance was probably one of the best events that I’ve been to for networking. They made it very easy for everyone by providing us all with a list of suggested people that we should meet based on criteria that we supplied them with beofre the event. The clever part of Freelance Romance is that everyone has interconnecting skills within the creative industry, so that makes it very straight forward to find people with skills that you may require or people that need the skills that you have to offer. Throw a couple of established companies looking for freelancers into the mix and you have a winning combination.
